These images are a result of daily explorations in the drowned drumlin landscape and the inter-tidal spaces of Clew Bay in the West coast if Ireland.

Being on an island constitutes an act of separation; separation from one’s life, and one’s reality, into a realm of the unknown. The space between islands is a water-land, a place of illusion, where boundaries and horizons shift, and depth and distance are temporal.

They are reflections on the tenuous connections between land and sea, ancient and present.
